This quarter, we looked at Germany. With a population of about 84.1 million, Germany is the most populous country in the European Union and the 19th most populous worldwide. Germany ranks fifth in mobile gaming revenue globally, trailing the US, China, Japan, and South Korea. For CY24, we estimate Germany’s mobile gaming market generated approximately $2.7 billion in IAP revenues. We estimate IAA revenues at between $400 million and $480 million, bringing Germany’s total mobile gaming market to between $3.1 billion and $3.2 billion in CY24. Germany has emerged as a central hub in Europe’s mobile gaming industry, fueled by numerous well-established domestic studios, a large audience willing to spend on games, and steady interest from international investors.
