EKG Announces new roles & recent hires at EKG Sports Betting & Digital Verticals
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA, December 13, 2021 -- Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) is pleased to announce the following corporate update with regards to its Sports Betting & Emerging Verticals and Digital & Interactive Gaming practices.
- Effective December 1, 2021, Chris Grove has transitioned to Partner Emeritus at EKG. He will also remain a strategic advisor to the firm. Chris has been a Partner at EKG for the past six years and has been responsible for creating a world class market research and consulting team focused on the sports betting and online gambling sectors. Chris has recently taken over as CEO of American Affiliate, which was just acquired by FansUnite (CSE: FANS, OTC: FUNFF). “We’d like to congratulate Chris Grove on the recent sale of American Affiliate to FansUnite. We are confident he will be successful and wish him and the entire team at FansUnite the best as they build out this newly merged company,” said Todd Eilers, Principal at EKG.
- Chris Krafcik will continue to serve as Managing Director for the Sports Betting & Emerging Verticals (S&EV) practice and lead its syndicated research production. Chris will report to Adam Krejcik, who will now lead the S&EV practice and be responsible for overseeing its consulting and advisory work.
- Effective January 1, 2022, Matt Kaufman will be promoted to Managing Director of Digital & Interactive Gaming (D&I), where he will help lead the practice’s research efforts and consulting work as it relates to social and mobile gaming. He will continue to report to Adam Krejcik, who will also oversee the D&I practice.
- Additionally, Amy Kim, a recent graduate from the University of California Berkeley with a degree in Statistics and emphasis in Economics, has accepted an analyst position at EKG. Amy will be reporting to Matt Kaufman and help support the firm’s D&I practice.
