Based on reported figures and our own proprietary research, we estimate that total U.S. & Canada slot machine sales decreased -17% y/y to ~23,100 total games sold in 4Q23. Total sales were impacted by a decline from both replacement and expansionary shipments; we estimate replacement sales decreased -12% y/y and expansionary sales decreased -42% y/y. This was +3% above pre-COVID 4Q19 levels; replacement sales were +11% above 4Q19 figures while expansionary sales were -30% below 4Q19.
