DraftKings retained its position as EKG’s top-ranked U.S. sportsbook app for the fourth consecutive report, continuing a now two-year run atop our rankings. The platform once again finished 1st overall and led the field in four of five scoring categories, though the gap at the top narrowed meaningfully this cycle as FanDuel improved materially in UX and reduced the overall scoring deficit by half round-over-round.
The competitive picture beneath the duopoly also continues to evolve. Fanatics further cemented its position as a clear third force in U.S. OSB, posting another strong gain in overall score driven by elite app speed, in-play bet placement, and a highly differentiated rewards ecosystem. At the same time, Hard Rock Bet climbed back into the top five for the first time since 2H24 on the strength of meaningful UX improvements, while theScore delivered an impressive debut under its refreshed branding.
