Position Available – Analyst – Gaming Equipment & Technology
Location – Irvine, CA
Job Description – The Analyst’s primary role will be to support the firm’s partners with existing proprietary market research reports as well as providing assistance on custom research projects and strategic consulting & advisory services within the gaming equipment & technology sector. Primary activities will include financial forecasting & modeling, individual company & market research, conducting industry channel checks, and compiling and analyzing industry/market data. The Associate will be expected to complete research tasks in a thoughtful and timely manner and be able to present findings to senior partners. Candidate must have advanced Microsoft excel modeling capabilities, as well as exceptional writing and communication skills and be prepared to demonstrate these skills as part of the formal interview process.
Experience – The ideal candidate should have 1-2 yrs of previous sell-side equity research, market research, and/or consulting experience. Also, 1-2 yrs of casino gaming industry experience would be a plus. Recent college graduates with a strong demonstrated interest in the aforementioned fields, including a course load focus, internships, and related extra-curricular activities, may also be considered. Candidate must be highly motivated and able to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Compensation – Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience and will include a base salary with the potential for an annual bonus depending on the firm’s overall profitability.
